Thank you for visiting our Church website. Mt. Vernon Baptist Church was established as God lead a group of people in the North Hall community to come together for worship, fellowship, and spiritual growth. Today, we believe there is still power in the Gospel to change lives through faith in Jesus Christ. It is that belief that leads us to minister as God's Word commands us to "Go ye into all the world, and preach the Gospel to every creature" (Mark 16:15).
Through small group Bible studies, VBS, AWANA, Youth Ministry, Church Mission Trips, and support for missionaries all around the world, Mount Vernon is a church with a heart for people. It is our prayer that each believer grow in the knowledge of God's Word, and live a life that displays the love of God daily in our community.
