"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
John 14:6
DISCIPLE NOW 2026
FEBRUARY 6 - 8
Why wouldn't a good person go to Heaven? What about other religions? Do you really have to call Jesus Lord? People are asking these questions. This generation is navigating a world that celebrates tolerance above truth, and relativity above absolutes.
Yet Jesus didn't present himself as a suggestion. He declared himself as the singular way to the Father. He is THE way - not an option or fallback. Not one path among many. In a culture increasingly comfortable with spiritual ambiguity, the exclusivity of Christ has never been more counter-cultural, or more necessary to proclaim.
This Disciple Now, let's answer the questions with full certainty: There is ONE WAY, and that way is Jesus.

WHAT IS DISCIPLE NOW?
Disciple Now started at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church in 2010. This weekend event is taken very seriously with a great deal of prayer, discussion, and planning. It's a time for students in 6th-12th grade to come together, hear God's Word preached, worship together, and grow in their faith alongside other believers.
The event kicks off Friday night and concludes Sunday morning. Students are divided into small groups and stay in host homes with leaders from their church, creating an intimate environment for discipleship and fellowship. Throughout the weekend, there are powerful worship services, thought-provoking messages, group devotions, and fun activities that bring students together.
