Rev up for an unforgettable adventure at Junkyard Redemption VBS at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church! From Sunday, June 14, to Friday, June 19, join us each evening from 5:45 to 8:30pm as we journey through God's incredible plan to restore what's broken and make it new. Dinner will be served nightly, and every registered attendee will receive a VBS t-shirt!
Kids will enjoy games, Bible study lessons, crafts, and more as they discover how God's redemption gives us help for today and sure hope for the future. Through the fun setting of a junkyard full of rusted relics, children will explore the Gospel message and see firsthand how God transforms broken things — including us!
On Friday, June 19, at 6:30pm, we'll wrap up our week with a special Commencement ceremony, followed by ice cream to celebrate all we've learned. Bring your friends and family — it's a week of fun, faith, and fellowship you won't want to miss!

Who can attend Junkyard Redemption VBS?
VBS is open to children and students of all ages, from Nursery through High School. We'd love to have the whole family involved!
How much does it cost?
VBS is completely free! We just ask that you register in advance so we can plan accordingly.

What are the drop-off and pick-up procedures?
Each evening, children should be dropped off at the Fellowship Hall, where dinner will be served starting at 5:45pm. Please check your child in at the check-in station upon arrival. At pick-up, parents will need to come inside and we'll direct you to your child's classroom for check-out. We appreciate your patience as we work to keep every child safe!
Is transportation available?
Yes! If your child needs a ride, we offer bus pickup as an option. Simply select the transportation option on your registration form and we'll be in touch with details.
What if my child has food allergies or special needs?
