Verse Of The Week for March 9 - March 15

“With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.”

- Psalms 119:10

The 119th Psalm is the longest chapter in the entire word of God. This single chapter has so much that will help us as we journey daily through this life. Think about this single verse. “With my whole heart have I sought thee…” You see our life in Christ begins with our heart. In Romans 10:9, the word of God says, “that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thy heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” So you see our salvation comes about by believing in our hearts. We need to seek the Lord daily. Not in order to be saved again, but to find and follow His will for our lives! “O let me not wander from thy commandments.”We must daily open the Word of God and discover Gods purpose and will for our lives. When we are seeking Him with  our whole heart we will not wander from His commandments. We will seek to follow Him, walking in obedience to His precious Word. He has promised us in His Word that He will never leave us or forsake us. He will help us, lead us, and guide us every single day when we seek Him with all our heart!  Dear Lord, we need you more than anything. We come to you now seeking you with our entire heart. Please help me in my journey with you daily. Help me not to wander from your commandments, from your Word. I love you Lord and Bless your Holy Name! Amen.
