Verse Of the Week for June 9 - June 15

“The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord:…”

- Psalms 37:23a

We are approaching Fathers Day. Think about this verse. The steps, (the activity) of a good man, are ordered by the Lord. We desperately have a tremendous need in homes across America today. We need some good men, some good fathers, whose steps are ordered by the Lord! Many homes in our communities and sadly in our churches, are in disarray. We need some men that will allow the Lord to direct their steps. Men with Biblical convictions that will stand up in this chaotic world and say, As for me and my house we will serve the Lord! Families that are living under the same roof many times do not have a good quality spiritual leader in that home. Men it’s time to step up to your God given responsibility and lead your family. The best thing you can do to get started is to have your family together in a good Bible teaching and preaching church. A place where the truth is preached and taught.

“The steps of a Good Man are ordered by the Lord.” Many people say that they do not know what the will of God is. To find Gods will and directions for our steps we must be in His Word. Read it, study it, hear it, then obey His Word! Pray, Oh dear Heavenly Father please help us to have our steps ordered by you. Thank you for Jesus your Son. Thank you for your Word. Thank you for the Holy Spirit that will guide me into all truth. Help me to be the man, the father, the spiritual leader in my home that I need to be for your honor glory, Amen.
