Verse Of the Week for April 7 - April 13

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
- Romans 1:16

What a tremendous verse of scripture this is! The Apostle Paul, in writing this epistle to the believers in Rome had stated in verse 15, “So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also.” You can just sense his eagerness to go to Rome and deliver the message of salvation through Jesus Christ. He was ready to preach the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. What a great message to be able to share with others! The world that you and I live in is in such disarray today. It seems that everything is in chaos. Aren’t you thankful that even in the darkest hours of time, that there is a bright ray of light that is still shining for everyone to see. It’s the Gospel! Paul said that he wasn’t ashamed of the gospel. Why? Because it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believes. One of the things that blesses my heart and soul is that  Gods plan of salvation is a whosoever will salvation. Not one individual is left out of the opportunity to be saved. “ For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish; but have everlasting life.”
 
We should all be thankful that we had the opportunity to hear the gospel and that we have the opportunity to share the gospel! Bless you today and always, in the name of Jesus Christ our Savior.
